About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Trainee (Intern) to join our team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence. You will work with real-world datasets and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources for analysis.
2. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights using statistical methods.
3. Create and maintain dashboards and visual reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
4. Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and ad hoc analyses.
6. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting.

Requirements

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
2. Strong skills in Excel and basic data analysis techniques.
3. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
4. Basic knowledge of SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy) is a plus.
5. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working with large datasets or academic data projects.
2. Understanding of key business metrics and KPIs.
3. Exposure to statistical analysis or predictive modeling.
