Your key responsibilities

1. Collaborate with designers and developers to create and implement user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
2. Translate design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Assist in the development and maintenance of reusable code and libraries for future use.
5. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user experience.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
7. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
8. Work closely with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
3. Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
4. Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
5. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
6. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
7. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
2. Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
3. Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
4. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
